The Messengers of Peace pin badge can be worn to show your participation in this global 10 year programme. Scouts in every region are now implementing local projects that promote peace, harmony and understanding in their communities.
Initial projects are diverse, creative and impactful! Projects underway are promoting inter-religious dialogue, growing food to sustain local livelihoods, education and training in artisanal crafts, outreach to at-risk youth, engagement of gangs to stop violence, and a variety of local initiatives to address health and environment issues.
